The island of Syros, the capital of the Cycladic islands is located only 20 minutes by plane and three hours by ferry boat from Athens. Syros is also only an hour away from Mykonos by ferry boat, which has daily connections by plane to a number of European cities: Paris, Geneva, Rome, Milan, Madrid, Barcelona, London, Larnaca and Istanbul.
